School Complaints and Information Requests

Complaints

Whitstone School is committed to providing a high standard of education and care. We welcome feedback and take any concerns or complaints seriously.

If you have a concern about any aspect of school life, we encourage you to raise it with us as soon as possible so that it can be addressed promptly. In many cases, concerns can be resolved informally by contacting the relevant member of staff or the school office.

Where a concern cannot be resolved informally, you may make a formal complaint in accordance with the school’s Complaints Policy. This policy sets out the stages of the complaints process, including how to submit a complaint and how it will be investigated.

We will aim to deal with all complaints fairly, consistently and in a timely manner.

Further details can be found in the school’s Complaints Policy..

  • Request a copy of personal information we hold about you or your child
  • Ask how your data is used or shared
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information
  • Request that we restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances

Further information:

These rights are set out under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
