Student Leader Programme
At Whitstone School we run a student leadership programme from year 7 all the way through to year 11.
We currently have in excess of 70 student leaders across all of our year groups.
They are fundamental in supporting and running numerous school events such as Parents evening, transition events, Student and parent tours, student voice panels, Interviews and more. Many visitors often comment that it is these leaders that give them such a positive impression of the school!
Student leaders act as role models within the school and are a vital voice in the school community. Our KS4 leaders lead and run our student voice, regularly feeding back to staff on their views – they know their view matters, and they know their view is valued, and acted upon.
Recruitment and selection for student leadership is held annually, however if students would like to be part of the leadership programme they are advised to speak to Mrs Payne.
