Year 10 Whitstone Musicians to visit The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in March

On Friday 10 March, the Year 10 BTEC Music students of Whitstone School will be spending the day at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (https://www.rwcmd.ac.uk/study/music ), getting the feel of life as a Music degree student in Cardiff. They will spend time in each of the departments, in particular the Music Technology suites, as Composition is an important part of their studies at Whitstone, and enjoy a lunchtime recital by the renowned Brass ensemble Septura (https://septura.org/) before heading back to school. Music Subject Lead, Michael Castle is pleased with the connection to the College; ‘I am delighted our students have this wonderful opportunity to glimpse into the future and see one way they can pursue their future studies towards a career in the Performing Arts.’ For more details, please contact Michael at Michael.Castle@whitstoneschool.org
