Donation from Community Recycle Scheme

Whitstone is to benefit from a kind donation of a shade sail from the brilliant Community Recycle Scheme.

As part of Whitstone School's alternative curriculum provision, we are creating some really wonderful outdoor learning experiences, including animal care (chickens and goats!), bush craft, forest school and gardening. 

To help with this, we have secured a donation of an outdoor shade sail from the brilliant 'Community Recycle' scheme.  This new scheme donates second-hand, overstocked and end-of-line equipment to schools across the UK.  A range of items has already been given away, including shade sails, post pad protectors and colourful fence pales. The full range of items can be viewed online, where requests can also be submitted.
