Lunchtimes
Lunch and break times at Whitstone School are an important part of the day, when our pupils are encouraged to be outside as much as possible, socialising with their peers. It is also the time to speak to a member of the pastoral team about any issues students may have or to join in one of the extracurricular clubs at Whitstone School.
The food available at break times include fruit, cakes, bacon baps and drinks, while we offer a full cooked menu, salad bar, wraps, rolls and sandwiches for lunchtimes.
Transport to and from Whitstone School
Transport to school is organised by Somerset County Council. You can find out about this here.
Whitstone School operates a separate Late Bus at 16:00, Tuesday to Friday, to allow all students the chance to be involved in school afterschool clubs and enrichment activities. Students must sign up for the Late Bus with our receptionist. It covers the following areas: Cranmore, Oakhill, Doulting, Stoke St Michael, Evercreech, Pilton, Witham Friary and Wanstrow.
